What makes men attractive?

A man can be attractive with his curly blonde hair, or wearing an expensive suit, but throw it all aside, and there is only one thing left: how proportionally his body is built.
Women prefer men with legs about half their height, and scientists suggest that this is the result of the evolution of women who chose only healthy men.
Legs that are too short may be associated, for example, with predisposition to type 2 diabetes. However, other proportions, such as the ratio of the length of the arms to the height or the ratio of the lower leg to the thigh, and the forearm to the shoulder, in equal proportions, can also indicate a person's health. But does this affect a woman's choice?
To answer this question, the researchers collected and averaged the body proportions of 9,000 male military personnel and used this data to create computer models of a full-length human figure. The scientists changed the length of the models' arms and legs, making them slightly longer or shorter, and then asked 800 women to rate the attractiveness of each model. The length of the models' arms in relation to their height did not play a significant role. Women paid little attention to how equally the elbow or knee divided the limb. However, women paid attention that if the legs were more or less than half the height of the model, then they did not like it.
Thus, it was confirmed by the results of earlier studies that a man's attractiveness is influenced by the ratio of his legs to height, and it should be about 1: 2.
