Why don't they celebrate the 40th anniversary?

On the threshold of this date, even people far from religion and all kinds of superstitions think about why they don’t celebrate 40 years, and whether this unofficial ban should be violated.
There are no really justified reasons to refuse a holiday, which are not particularly numerous in our lives anyway. But it is considered a bad sign to celebrate the person’s birthday when he turns 40.
1. Religious reason.
There are many references in the Bible to events related to the four. This is a global flood that lasted 40 days, the stay of the soul on earth for 40 days after death, a 40-year wandering in the wilderness of the Jewish people and so on.
2. Superstitious reason.
Our ancestors believed that at the age of 40, an angel who protected the person from birth leaves him, since there is already enough worldly wisdom and accumulated experience to make the right decisions on his own.
3. Astrological reason.
Astrologers are sure that the four is associated with a serious life crisis. In the interval from 39 to 43 years, a person is patronized by the planet Uranus - heavy, strong, associated with all sorts of life trials, illnesses, family loss, difficult life situations.
Those who do not believe in astrology, numerology and other pseudo-sciences, treat this anniversary as they would any other. But the human psyche is arranged in such a way that each round date, even unconsciously, is perceived as a kind of milestone. And more negativity, problems and trials that one had to face during this time pop up in one’s memory.
The brain at this age is still working fine, while the body gradually begins to show the first signs of old age. It certainly has a depressing effect on people.
By the way, the Orthodox Church has nothing against the celebration of 40th birthday by its parishioners. Like any other birthday, since the ban is based solely on ancient superstitions.
There are only assumptions explaining the likely origins of this:
What to do if your soul asks for a holiday?
In order not to tempt fate when you want to celebrate your 40th birthday, and not enter into an argument with subtle matters, you can postpone the celebration to a later date, or celebrate, for example, farewell to 39 years, and not the arrival of 40. Or choose any other holiday (of which there are a lot) falling on this day. And start with the celebration by mentioning it as an occasion for gathering.
And later, when the atmosphere of the holiday becomes already relaxed and light, it will no longer be particularly important which date caused the gathering of relatives and friends. In any case, the mood of the person himself is important, since the sending of negativity into the Universe is precisely fraught with the attraction of another negative. And positive emotions and thoughts will bring pleasant events and charge with positive until the next birthday.
