12 gadgets of the future showcased at CES-2022

Mankind is constantly moving into the future and is trying to provide itself with technologies that are appropriate in terms of development. And you can see them in concentrated form, even before they enter the market, at the annual CES exhibition, which has long become a symbol of technological progress. So at the current event, which took place not so long ago, you could see a lot of entertaining concepts designed to make a person's life even easier and more interesting. Here are 12 gadgets of the future showcased at CES-2022.

• 1. 4K quantum dot TV

  Within the framework of the exhibition, Sony announced the launch of the flagship model Bravia XR A95K on the market - a TV with an OLED display based on quantum dots. It will be produced in two sizes - with diagonal of 55 and 65 inches, and sales will begin this year. The use of quantum technology allowed the gadget to have a display with a resolution of 4K and update frequency of 120 Hz, which made it possible to improve image performance in color and brightness, as well as expand viewing angles.

  In addition, there is another innovation in the design of the TV - the “smart” Cognitive Processor XR processor, which is able to change the depth of the image based on the focus point of the viewer’s gaze and suggests the possibility of automatic HDR calibration when the PlayStation 5 console is connected to the gadget. The price of the TV of the future is not yet available.

• 2. Smart feeder

  Even bird feeding can become progressive. This gadget will be a great gift for those who love nature and innovation. Now birds can experience the delights of technological progress, because Bird Buddy is a “smart” feeder invented specifically for birds. Now, instead of a simple birdhouse, you can buy such a house equipped with a built-in camera for $ 199.

  The owner of such a feeder can take pictures of birds using a special application. Moreover, he will know exactly when it can be done, because the system sends notifications that a certain hungry bird has arrived to eat. In addition, the application can tell the owner information about the types of birds that visit the feeder, which will allow you to adjust the feed if necessary.

• 3. Virtual boxing glove

  Boxing in virtual reality is possible now. Today, people tend to put literally anything into virtual reality. The boxing glove is no exception. The concept of Liteboxer VR is the ability to box by creating a virtual platform in front of you.

  Among other services provided by the project are consultations with a real trainer to develop the right schedule and intensity of training, depending on the purpose of their conduct, and even licensed pop music. The app subscription costs $19 per month, but for those who want to test the system before buying, a free trial version is available for seven days.

• 4. Wallet tracker

  This is a gadget that will not let you lose your wallet. In order not to lose your wallet in the depth of an apartment or elsewhere, Apple has released a tracker called AirTag. And at CES-2022, a slightly different gadget was presented, but with similar functionality. We are talking about the Chipolo Card Spot Tracker accessory, which consists of a plastic card, similar in size to a credit card, and a special Locator application. It is enough to place a card in the wallet, and its location can always be tracked. The tracker costs $35.

• 5. Gadget for dyeing hair at home

  The famous cosmetics corporation L'Oreal also participated in CES-2022. It presented one interesting gadget that should appeal to those who like to experiment with their image regularly, but do not want to constantly sign up for salons.

  A panacea should be a device called ColorSonic, which allows you to dye your hair at home with high quality. The gadget will be able to mix dyes and even apply them evenly on the hair. But those who are interested in this unusual concept will have to wait: the company plans to release it on the market only in a year, and there is no information about the cost yet.

• 6. Milk and baby formula warmer

  Feeding babies can also be made technological. Innovations do not bypass the care of the smallest humans. Perhaps, any parent at least once faced with the problem of how to feed a baby with warm milk or formula on the road. Of course, there are various types of heaters on the market, however, according to users, they are not very convenient in operation: they either heat for too long or go over the temperature. The solution was presented at the exhibition - it was the BisbeeBaby Keddle device.

  It will not only heat the milk to the required temperature in just a couple of minutes, but also facilitate the process of preparing the baby formula. In addition, the manufacturer claims that the relevance of the gadget is not lost after the little ones grow up: the BisbeeBaby Keddle is also suitable for making cocoa or tea. The cost of this interesting device is $125.

• 7. Winter electric bike

  One will find gadgets for real thrill-seekers at the exhibition the most modern technologies. We are talking about the multifunctional transport MoonBike, which is positioned as the first electric bike of the kind on the planet. In the design of the unit - one ski and one crawler, the power plant is represented by an electric motor, which allows developing a maximum speed of 42 km / h.

  An electric bike can work for about an hour and a half on one battery; when an additional battery is connected, the operating time doubles. Specially designed for winter, it glides easily on snow and can withstand temperatures down to -25 degrees Celsius. In addition, it is called completely silent. MoonBike can be purchased for $8,500.

• 8. Chameleon car

  The chameleon car has become a reality. The famous German automaker BMW also wants to keep up with the times, and at this year's CES showed an entertaining concept car called the iX Flow. The peculiarity of this electric crossover is its body, which is able to change its shade with the push of a button.

  This is made possible through the use of electronic ink technology E Ink: today the range of the car consists of three colors - white, gray and black. The developers think that this ability of the car will save it from unnecessary coloring in car service centers, and even help reduce energy consumption in the summer season: if you change the body color to white in the sunny weather, the reflective abilities of the shade will allow you not to keep the air conditioner in the cabin constantly on.

• 9. Augmented Reality lenses

  These are the most technologically advanced lenses available today. Unlike the aforementioned projects, the concept of contact lenses for augmented reality has been shown at CES-2022 for several years in a row. But each time the development gets more and more new abilities or possibilities for distribution.

  So, this year the manufacturer of lenses, which give the opportunity to receive notifications "right in the eye", announced the beginning of cooperation with sports applications, such as Adidas Running or Slopes, as they believe their development will be the most relevant that for athletes. After all, it will allow them not to be distracted during the workout on condition of receiving data or notifications - they will not even have to put their eyes down on their hand.

• 10. “Smart” watch without a dial

  No matter how much scientific and technological progress has modernized the ordinary watch, it has never lost its original function - if you look at it, you can see the time. However, the developers of the "smart" accessory NoWatch went even further - its dial does not show anything at all.

  The gadget's distinctive feature is that it is able to measure the temperature, blood oxygen level, count the pulse and even predict the mood of the owner for the next 60 minutes as a method of combating stress, and sends this information to a special application on your smartphone. And the dial instead of the display suggests a set of interchangeable inserts, among which there are semi-precious stones, such as amethyst or malachite. Thus, being a multifunctional gadget, NoWatch can also be a piece of jewelry. The cost of smart watch without dial is 599 dollars.

• 11. Table-computer

  This is a hybrid of a table and a computer for gamers. Fans of computer games were pleased with a novelty at CES-2022 as well. So, the developer of gaming equipment Razer was presented the concept of Project Sophia, which is a gaming table with built-in PC. The display uses OLED-screen with a diagonal of 65 or 77 inches. The tabletop view is 13 electronic modules, which are mounted on magnets, which allows you to easily place them in a user-friendly sequence.

  A set of useful accessories and gadgets is provided with the unit itself: backlighting for the screen, CPU temperature sensor, icons for quick applications launch, chat, calendar, audio mixers, tablets and even a device for heating liquid in a mug. However, the developers have not yet named the time of release of Project Sophia on the market, as well as the cost, but it has already managed to attract a lot of attention.

• 12. Reusable stickers

  The trend of smart consumption and the greening of human life and activities has long been picked up by a variety of companies. In particular, at the CES-2022 exhibition, electronic note-taking sheets called VersaNotes were presented.

  Basically, the small gadgets are micro tablets 10x10 or 10x15 centimeters, which act as a reusable sticker. The sheets are attached to surfaces with magnets, and they can be cleared of inscriptions by clicking on a special indentation. The VersaNotes kit includes three different colors of microplates, as well as a VersaPen stylus. The cost of the kit is about $30.
