Global non-random coincidence.

This article lists and describes some of the factors that influenced or continue to influence the emergence and maintenance of life on our planet directly or indirectly. There are so many of these factors that sometimes, their entire combination ceases to seem random.

Take a look at the world around you. Could you imagine that life as we know it now could arise and exist harmoniously? It seems incredible that such a rational being like a person is able to learn so much about the structure of the universe around us and leave the limits of his own planet? Can it be considered a miracle that the female body is able to give birth to a similar creature with its inherent human brain - an organ that grants unlimited abilities?

Undoubtedly, the creation of science, as a kind of activity, gave rise to obtaining answers to many exciting questions, as well as to the development of man as a species, and pushed humanity in many other directions. For example, the revelation of the fact that we are only a small grain of sand among the countless stars and galaxies in the universe, gave rise to the idea of interstellar travel, which in turn pushed humans to travel into space.

Needless to say about our limitless imagination that transforms fantastic ideas into scientific and technical breakthroughs. And yet, to what can such a colorful and diverse world as we know it today owe its existence? Is this really the same big explosion (big bang) that occurred about 13.5 billion years ago, which gave rise to the existence of space, time and matter? And can this event be called an accident? But these very "accidents", with the help of which organic life on our planet was created and maintained to this day, are much more than it might seem.

Modern science is partially capable of explaining many things and phenomena that happened hundreds, thousands and millions of years ago, as well as those that are happening today. And some of them are worthy of special attention. For example, what we see every day, which haunts many scientists and science fiction writers, which illuminates the night sky.

We are talking about the satellite of the planet Earth - the Moon. There are several versions of the formation of the Moon in the orbit of our planet, but modern scientists adhere to one - the most popular, that the satellite was formed as a result of the collision of another object with the Earth, the size of Mars. It is likely that it was this catastrophic event that shifted the axis of rotation of the earth, which was the determining factor for the current change of seasons. If we adhere to this version, then the collision also determined the speed of rotation of the Earth around its axis. Today it is approximately 1670 km / h at the equator, which is also a favorable factor for earthly inhabitants.

Slow down the speed of rotation of the planet and the temperature difference between day and night will become unbearable; speed it up - and then the wind speed will increase catastrophically. As you know, the Moon affects the periodic rise and fall of the water level in the seas and oceans. It is possible that these very ebb and flow, caused by the gravitational pull of the satellite, were the impetus for the emergence of the first creatures on the land surface. Who knows, maybe without the Moon the development of life would be completely different, or it would not exist at all.

There is one more factor without which the existence of the life we know would be impossible. Namely, the distance to our closest star - the Sun. As you know, it is about 150 million kilometers. In fact, such a distance is very difficult to imagine. Nevertheless, a change in the position of our planet in outer space by several hundred thousand kilometers towards or away from the Sun will entail the death of all life on Earth. The fact is that, compared to other planets in the solar system, we are in an ideal position for existence. The sun provides the Earth with light and heat exactly in the amount necessary for the growth and evolution of plants and animals, and also gives a person a comfortable living environment.

But besides the fact that our nearest star gives life, it is also able to take it away. Every second, the Sun loses about a million tons of matter, emitting streams of ionized particles that spread at an incredible speed in outer space. This solar wind is a gigantic stream of deadly radiation that affects everything in its path, and our planet is no exception. One of the evidences of the impact of solar radiation on the Earth, visible to humans, is the so-called Northern Lights. This amazingly beautiful phenomenon is the result of the collision of the solar wind with the atmosphere of our planet. But because of the deadly flow of radiation particles constantly created by the sun, all life on the planet could perish. But something, again, protects us, not allowing radiation to penetrate to the surface of the Earth.

Since the end of the formation of our home planet, about 4.5 billion years ago, it has been surrounded by an invisible shield created by the Earth's magnetic field. Its creation and support, according to scientists, is due to the rotation of the planet and the movement of metals in its outer core. It is this phenomenon that protects humanity from the solar wind and lethal doses of cosmic radiation. If the Earth rotated more slowly, then this field would be weaker, and we would have lost such an important protection for life. But not only man owes his existence to the magnetic field. For insects, birds and many other animals, it is a reference point for movement in space.

There are still countless extremely unlikely events and factors that nevertheless happened or developed in such a way that life and humanity appeared on Earth. Therefore, it would seem that the final appearance of man on Earth, which nevertheless took place, was such an "impossible" event from the point of view of the theory of probability that the fact that we still exist is a complete coincidence.

However, on the other hand, since we exist, we can assess the same situation from the other side: we exist precisely here, on Earth, one of the billions of planets, precisely because it is here that all the necessary events took place, and not a single one happened without reason, which means that from all the planets we should have been exactly here, on Earth, and then it is no longer an accident, but a pattern.

At the present time, a person is able to gain knowledge about phenomena that affect the creation and maintenance of life on our planet directly or indirectly. This helps us learn a lot from the past and to protect ourselves in the future. But we know that the Earth is not eternal, that sooner or later something catastrophic may happen here; that someday a person may have to leave the boundaries of his native planet in order to survive as a species. And besides the search for extraterrestrial life forms, modern science is busy with this issue.

And today, we fully enjoy life, make discoveries that change humanity and everything that surrounds it, while reaching heights in physical and spiritual development. And in order not to dwell on this and preserve our world, we must live in harmony with nature and pass on knowledge to future generations.
