If you want to maintain your health, be like a shark.

If you want to live, you will have to move. Daily physical activity reduces the risk of early death significantly. Research has shown that even several short intervals of activity a day of 10 minutes or less are beneficial. The advice to park further away from the office and walk up the stairs that annoys everyone doesn't just work - it can save your life.
Movement keeps the death away. It's good for the heart, waist, and brain. When people start gaining weight, age is often used as an excuse. But while metabolism does drop by 10% every decade, this is no longer related to age, but to muscle loss.
People get fat not because they get old, but because they stop moving with age.
The lifestyle becomes more and more sedentary, muscles atrophy, metabolism slows down, and fat accumulates. Immobility weakens not only the body, but also the mind. Conversely, physical activity prevents depression and anxiety.
A sedentary lifestyle leads to a vicious circle of passivity. When you stop moving, you put on weight and feel more depressed. Because of this, the desire to move is reduced. It becomes difficult for you to move; it brings discomfort, not pleasure. You get fat, decrepit, you stop enjoying life. All of this chains you to the couch even more.

Physical activity creates the opposite cycle. Movement supports mood, muscle mass and metabolism. The more you move, the easier it is for you to stay active. The body remains tighter, the joints more flexible, and the mind remains positive and motivated. You want to move and you are pleased to do it.
The rolling stone is not overgrown with moss. An agile person accumulates less fat.
Don't give up your active lifestyle. Imagine a bicycle with a light bulb attached: to keep it from going out, you have to pedal all the time. It's the same with health.
Better yet, imagine yourself as a shark. Some shark species almost constantly need to be on the move to breathe.
And people need to move to keep their bodies and minds healthy. Without movement, you will die. Of course, not immediately, but it will happen slowly. But if you don’t move, it will happen much earlier than with an active lifestyle.
You don't have to exercise every day. Take the stairs. Carry a suitcase in your hands, do not carry it on wheels. Walk or exercise during breaks at work. Move. Live.
